Nishikigoi no Sato and Ojiya-shi General Industrial Hall Sun Plaza are adjacent to each other. (See access map) It is also about a 3-hour bus ride from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
This is a perfect rest station for shopping, lunch breaks and a short tour of facilities for Nishikigoi and industrial arts on your way to Sado Island, or Yahiko-Tsukioka hot spring resort.

On the second floor of "Sun Plaza" are display and sale of local sake, soba noodles, rice confectionery and a large variety of souvenirs such as traditional, industrial products Ojiya Tsumugi and Ojiya Chijimi textiles.
On the first floor is an experience-based studio where visitors can weave traditional textiles. (Reservation required) * The studio is closed on Wednesdays.
